At Tale of Two Strands®, your satisfaction is important to us. Below are our return and refund guidelines for At-Home Hair and Fur Sensitivity Test Kits.
Canceling an Order Before Shipment
Orders canceled before shipment are eligible for a full refund, including shipping (if applicable).
Please note: Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST typically ship the same business day. Cancellation requests submitted outside normal business hours may not be received in time to prevent shipment.
If your kit has already shipped, please contact Customer Support to review available return or refund options.
Canceling an Order After Shipment
If a cancellation or refund request is made after the kit has shipped, a $5 post-shipment cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund.
To initiate a cancellation or refund, please contact our Customer Support team for further instructions.
Before Mailing Your Hair and Fur Sample
Test kits purchased directly from TaleofTwoStrands.com are eligible for a refund if the kit is unused and unregistered.
After Receiving Your Test Results
A refund may be requested only if all of the following conditions are met:

The kit was used and registered

The recommended 6-week elimination or adjustment plan was fully completed

You remain unsatisfied after following the plan as directed

Refunds requested after results are subject to management review, evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and are available only for kits purchased directly from TaleofTwoStrands.com.
If your kit was purchased through Amazon or another retailer, refund requests must be submitted directly through the original seller.
